Welcome to the SheltonQigong blog! This blog chronicles the life work of Chris and Parisa Shelton.  Their mission is to make Qigong and Chinese Medicine a mainstream practice.

Many people around the globe are living with persistent or chronic pain. Experts debate the numbers but doctors and researchers agree that between 39 to 100 million Americans suffer pain “every day” or “most days.”

The majority of sufferers are older adults, women, working-professionals and obese adults.

Our goal is to attract readers familiar with the mind-body connection and, to a lesser degree, Eastern medicine. Thanks to the growing prevalence of non-traditional therapies in U.S. hospitals, Qigong – the new yoga, acupuncture without needles – is an attractive, safe alternative for pain sufferers and health practitioners looking for affordable and natural pain relief.

We believe that you CAN make a difference. You can heal your body, mind and spirit. You can practice peace and harmony in your heart, home and life.
