A Qigong Practice for Mother’s Day

Dear Reader,

On this Mother’s Day weekend, we created a short practice to take a pause and offer a token of gratitude to all mothers, everywhere. ???

Without Mom, life as we know it wouldn’t exist. ?

Mothering can take many different forms, shapes and styles, and yet there is a common thread of creativity and nurture.

Even for those of us who grew up with a mother who maybe shouldn’t have been a mother, she still gave you life and the opportunity to create, learn, and grow.

Therefore, on this special day, we give thanks and show gratitude to our mothers, our first teachers here on this school of Earth. ??????

It’s also important for us guys to tap into our yin side, which is soft, gentle, and nurturing. There is power is in this subtle yin energy, which holds so much potential and stores the fate of humanity. ⚖️

The masculine and feminine are the flip-side of the same coin and each one of us contains the seeds of both masculine and feminine energy. ? It’s the interdependency of these opposite energies that brings harmony inside the home and peace around the world.

As the adage goes, “to bring peace to this world, strive to make your own life peaceful.” ? ✌️
