I love this time of year not only because yesterday was our 10th wedding anniversary but because I love observing the weather transitioning to it’s cooler winter state. ☯️
Which means holidays, coziness and hot chocolate! But sadly, often times that means more colds and sinus problems popping up too. 🤨
That’s why this week, I wanted to talk about some home remedies you can try to reduce the uncomfortable pressure that comes with sinus infections and sinusitis.
The two organs associated with sinus problems are the Lungs and the Spleen.
The Lungs store phlegm, while the Spleen produces phlegm.
Did you know that the Lungs are actually the most exterior organ in the body because of its connection to our nose and skin? Our Lungs are also connected to the emotions of grief, sorrow and sadness.
The Spleen is responsible for emotions of worry and anxiety, which is why it is very important to strengthen the Qi of both of these organs to regain full sinus function.
In this week’s video, I share certain pungent foods that are great for the Lungs as well as tips on what types of foods to avoid to help our Spleen Qi.
I also demonstrate important Qigong exercises and healing sounds for each organ.
Be sure to catch the end of the video, where I show a great technique, involving hot water and peppermint oil, for immediate sinus relief.
As always, we hope these Qi tips are helpful and informative. 😎
Feel free to share this video with anyone you know who suffers from the frustrations of sinusitis or sinus infections.
Sending you love and good-ass Qi 😍
